Jonathan a Burleson High School player, #46, made the most tackles of his high school football career on Friday night. But it was a hit he took after the game that landed Jonathan Lopez in intensive care. After the game Jon along with some friends decided to go out to eat and when the time to leave and go home came an unexpected accident happened. Jon fell off the tailgate of a truck and suffered a traumatic head injury which left him with brain bleeding, swelling of the brain and a couple fractures on his skull. Jonathan is making progress but still has a long way to go. Medical expenses is a journey we have yet to encounter but will be significant.
