2Spirit Film for mental health

You Will Go Home... Is an Indigenous 2 Spirit short film around blood memory, addiction, mental health, MMIW, trans, queer issues and domestic violence. My name is Tsiktsinensawe Yakonkwe Rhonda Lucy and I am the writer director and emerging filmmaker.  I have written this film  based on true events from my Life. I need help with funding for entering it into festivals, travel to screen and give harm reduction talks and programs  alongside this film.  We are an all Indigenous cast and crew. Our film features two main characters both trans woman and focusing on moving forward and leaving behind the dark past.  We meet our main character at the moment where she says no for the last time and what that looks like in the moments when you take on the new path of healing and accept the journey.  This film holds many teachings and reaches depths of the spirit in ways that offers a hopeful and good mind to move forward. We show that there's work before the happy ending and the choices me make effect all aspects of our life and those around us.  I need help getting this film out there. I want our youth to see something positive. To see a trans woman as a hero to herself.
