Benefit-For-A Queen

Hi Everyone! My name is Jessi Crabeels and on September 5th my sister Nathalie Queen Young (age 28) was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Breast Cancer. In the last month she has received some pretty crazy news that seems to range from bad to worse. She begins intense chemo treatment on October 12th and will receive 6 rounds totaling 18 weeks. Her chemo will end on February 16th and a month after she will most likely receive her double mastectomy. The Dr's believe they will need to do another round of less intense chemo after the surgery. She has already seen a fertility Dr who was able to extract and freeze 3 eggs in the likely event that the chemo leaves her ovaries unable to produce eggs. Although they usually hope to freeze 15-20, 3 is more hope than she had when this all started! 

Nathalie comes from a larger family with 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She falls 5th in line! In her life, is also her 5 yr old pit bull Artemis who supplies her with endless kisses! She also has a rally of close friends standing behind her in support. With the help of all us we can get her through this tough next year. 

Today, October 3rd was Nathalie's last day at her office for 6-12 months. It is very bittersweet for her as she loves her job and co-workers so much.

This Go Fund Me is to help Nathalie with her medical expenses from her diagnoses (already totaling over $3,000). Her type of cancer is rare for her age however survival chances are great! Dr's are a little concerned that with her being so young, the chances of it coming back are greater because she potentially has so much life ahead!
