We, Christopher and Justin-Sheila’s sons, created this page in an effort to help manage our mother's medical expenses. After spending two month In the ICU at Fresno Community Regional Medical Center. She was transferred to a long term care facility in Modesto Ca about two an half hours away from Tulare the day before thanksgiving to ween her off the ventilator and for rehabilitation after being in a hospital bed for the last three months she has lost all the muscle tone in her legs and arm she will have to to learn how to walk again and will have to relearn everyday movements like brushing her hair, washing her face,holding a pencil my dad and I can only visit her on the weekends because my dad had to go back to work after taking two months off
For those of you who know and have met my mom, you know what an amazing lady, friend, and mother she is. And for those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting her, she is one of the kindest, wisest, and most amazing human beings you could ever meet. We love our mother more than anything in the world. My family is ready to sacrifice everything if it means getting our mother back. It’s painful for us to know that we can't help her medically and that it’s all in the doctors’ hands.
What we can do, however, is make sure she gets the best medical care. Our hope is that through the generosity of our family, friends, friends of friends, and other acquaintances, our mother will get better and can return to the life she had before these unfortunate events took place.
