I am Monica Guzmán . I was recently admitted into Leadership Austin's 2017 Essential Class - an opportunity of a lifetime!
Leadership Austin offers leadership training to those with a passion for a better Austin. The Essential Class, Leadership Austin's flagship program, focuses on regional issues, deepening leadership skills, and building relationships with others equally committed to their community, alumni are poised to have increased impact through their civic engagement. My tuition balance is too high for me to pay in one payment or even monthly payments. If possible, I would like to pay the balance by the end of October 2016.
I work part-time as a BASTA Organizer, educating renters on their legal right to live in safe and healthy housing.
My work through Restore Rundberg , the CAN Community Council , and Central Health positively impacts the community, but there is no financial compensation.
The opportunity of being an Essential candidate doesn't come every day. Any donation received is greatly appreciated!
