Ryans Medical Fund

My name is Mandi Christensen and I am a friend of Theresa Sanderson.  I have created this page to help raise money for Theresa and her family through this difficult time.

Ryan is Theresa Sandersons 2nd oldest son.  At just 19 years old he is currently fighting for his life in the Cardiovascular ICU at the Foothills Hopsital in Calgary.
He was admitted to the South Campus Hospital on Sunday with Sepsis, Pneumonia and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome.  He was STAT transefered to CVICU and put on a heart and lung bypass machine. He also has a Hemothorax which is an accumulation of blood in the Pleural space.  Today (Monday) Ryan was transferred to the Foothills Hospital still in life threatening condition.  He is currently on 100% bypass to keep the Oxygen level in his blood up and is on full life support.  He is showing signs of kidney failure and will no doubt begin dialysis shortly.

 This is going to be a long hard battle for this family.  Theresa is obviously not leaving his side and they need our help.  There will be the usual bills amounting as she is off work to be with him.  They have parking, and transit and eating expenses that will be a daily cost for them.  Once he is stable and on the road to recovery there will be a long rehabilitaion for Ryan.  This will cost them time off work and once again parking and transit.  

Theresa has always been the kind of person that steps up for EVERYONE.  She will give you the shirt off her back if you need it.  Its time for us to show her some support and love.

Every single dollar is going directly to Theresa and her family.  Every single dollar is more appreciated then you know.  Please help!
