The Julie D Memorial Soccer Game

The University of Illinois Women's Soccer Club Team is hosting the annual memorial soccer game in honor of Julie D'Agostino and to raise funds for The Julie D. Foundation. The game will be held at the turf fields at First and Stadium in Champaign on Friday, October 14th at 7:00 pm.

All proceeds will be donated to The Julie D. Foundation and its mission to keep Julie's wonderful spirit alive. This foundation raises awareness for cystic fibrosis and supports organizations she passionately supported -- The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Gift of Hope Foundation and The Make A Wish Foundation.

Julie D'Agostino was our teammate Natalie's twin sister, who radiated an incredibly energetic and positive energy that was very special. Julie lived her life fully and lovingly despite her unfortunate diagnosis. She fought a lifelong battle with cystic fibrosis and passed away after complications from her second lung transplant surgery. Although Julie was dealt a tough hand, she is an inspiration to us all every day. Our team strives to keep Julie's spirit alive by never forgetting the amazing person she was.

We are selling pink Julie D wristbands for our game. Your $5 donation buys a wristband that is also entry to the October 14th game. Wristbands will be for sale at the gate, too. The game is going to be a PINK OUT, so we encourage everyone to wear something pink in honor of Julie's favorite color. We hope to see you there!
