Fundraising for Khagendra, Nepal

Donation protected

Hi All

My name is Sean and I am a 16 year old, grade 10 student from Matthew Flinders Anglican College. In April of 2017, I will be travelling to Nepal alongside my mother Lilian and our close family friends Brooke and Julie as well as a diverse group of people from around Australia.

The main reason we are going on this Global Immersion trip is to provide service and support to the Khagendra Vocational School by teaching classes and helping to construct additional classrooms for the school.

Khagendra Vocational School is local school in Kathmandu with 220 mentally and physically disabled children. The school supplies the children with life skills that provide them the opportunity to creating their own future. In 2015, the Nepal earthquake severely damaged around 70% of the school. The money we raise will be used to restore these buildings and allow the school to intake more students from around Kathmandu.

The main goal is to raise $6000 to help the school get back on its feet. The rest of the trip will be paid for by my mother and I, therefore ensuring that the money we raise is put to good use helping the people of Khagendra.

It would be really appriciated if you were to donate money to help the beautiful children of Khagendra Vocational School.

Regards

Sean
