Caroline and Derek are my sweet daughter and son-in-law who are expecting a baby girl. Recently they received the devastating news that their baby has a congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndome. The baby will be delivered at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto and will require immediate heart surgery. She will also need two more in the next three years in order to survive. We are learning that the expense for the family to spend months in Toronto and the subsequent loss of income for both parents is just too much for them to handle. So we are asking for your help. Please take the time to donate. If we can ease their financial burden, they will then be able to focus on getting their baby girl well and back home in Yarmouth.
