Hello! My name is Samantha Rae, I am a Professional Tattooer who specializes in working with Breast Cancer Warriors to are ready to recalim their bodies through Post Mastectomy Specailty Tattoos.
I have a custom built private studio located in a rural area of Mid-Vancouver Island! My wonderful clients often travel a (local 2hr) distance from Victoria or Campbell River. And more and more are beginning to come from as far as the Mainland, Vancouver, Okanagan, Alberta and Toronto.
Each Year I Host a private event day to donate my tattoo services to a Survivor Candidate :) This October 8th will be my 3rd year representing "P.INK DAY VANCOUVER" for www.p-ink.org
Tattooing a beautiful creative design to fulfill the wish of an applicant from this wonderful organization!!
What is a P.ink Day?
Most breast cancer survivors are told they have two options after a mastectomy: reconstruction or no reconstruction. P.ink (Personal Ink) believes survivors deserve a third option that most aren’t familiar with: tattoos, for scar coverage, scar adornment or nipple replacement. One way P.ink makes this option accessible is by mobilizing local communities via P.ink Day: a private, annual, curated experience in which local volunteers connect survivors with experienced artists, who donate their time and provide complimentary tattoos.

The Funds are being raised to help with travel expenses for our Beautiful Participants and the Volunteers who take part on this special day!!
In addition, we are blessed with Catering and Gifts from our community. With tremendous thanks I barder my time to achieve a full and vibrant day.
Since I continue to work with Post Mastectomy Specialty Tattoo clients throughout the year, it would be my honor to provide more people with a travel budget from this gofundme, and even get the chance to have a BnB or vacation rental covered for a weekend for my out of towners.
I chose $555.00 as our goal for a reason,
If numbers have meaning, and I believe they do :),
555 is percieved to be a validation that the change you're contemplating is the best direction for you to take.
Also, that it is time to let go of the ‘old’ that is no longer positively serving you. Trust that these changes are for both your immediate and long-term benefit.
I see this change in every special client that I have the pleasure of working with!
I also think we can exceed our goal with Your help :)
