Charlie's Big Adventure

Hi everyone!
For those of you who know me personally, or follow me on social media, or listen to my show... know how much of a crazy dog lady I am. I have 2 pooches, Cooper and Charlie, who literally are more important to me than anything else in this world.
My first born (as I call her), Charlie, is currently admitted to the CARE Animal Center in SE Calgary due to a slipped disc. Doesn't sound like a big deal, right? Unfortunately, it's a really big deal, and brings me to this GoFundMe page.
5 years ago, I found Charlie through AARCS. We instantly became best pals, we were meant to find each other. She has been by my side through roommates, move ins, break ups, bad days, bad weeks, good days, good weeks and more. She has been a constant in my life. I can't remember a time before her and can't imagine a life without her.
On Sunday, September 25th, Charlie had a day like any other day for a 5 year old Shepherd cross. I took her to the park a few times, she ran like crazy and let her tongue hang out the side of her mouth while she did it. She was a happy, healthy pup. On Monday, September 26th, she started limping a little, but could still wag her tail like a goofball. I assumed she hurt her leg, and she'd be okay in a few days. On Tuesday, September 27th, I woke up to Charlie trying to walk across my room... and she couldn't. Her back legs completely useless, her back arched and tight. She was paralyzed.
So, as of present, Charlie is in emergency care. She has been diagnosed with a slipped disc... further diagnostics will confirm what we already know and that's surgery to try and fix it. Pet insurance doesn't cover it due to the fact that it's a breed degenerative disorder... and it's $6500.
Now, I am not begging you for money, I just ask that if you have an extra couple of dollars laying around you could spare to help me help my Charlie, I would owe you forever. Any extra funds donated that I don't need will be given to AARCS here in Calgary.
