We are Laker Battleships FRC team 5156 from Laker High School. Our team consists of 9th-12th graders from the Elkton, Pigeon, and Bay Port Areas in the upper thumb region of Michigan.
First Robotics Competition is a set criteria to design and build a robot in 6 weeks to compete in different competitions. The purpose of First Robotics Competition at Laker High School is to give students the opportunity to apply science, technology, engineering, math, and business skills. First Robotics helps students to learn through a mentoring partnership from experts in the community, and it leads students to enhance valuable people skills.
We are currently seeking donations and sponsorships for the 2016-2017 robotics season. Our team relies on donations, grants, and sponsorships. Your donations can assist with registration fees, materials and specialty tools to build the robot with, and assist with travel costs to our competitions. This robotics season, with your help, our team will continue to make an impact on students and allow members to have an opportunity to learn about and pursue careers in STEM fields.
If you have any questions about donating please feel free to contact us. More information about us and our contact information can be found on our team's webpage.
