Steves Medical Bills Fund

As you can imagine the medical bills are piling up superfast. This has gone from a fund to help mom stay in Texas to a fund to help pay medical bills. Thank you everyone for your continued care and support and your prayers. Keep the prayers coming they are working. Dad is being transferred to Denver on October 19 where he will continue his care. That brings him much closer to home.

My father was on a motorcycle trip with his best friend. They were headed to see the Alamo. Unfortunately they never made it. The back tire blew on dad's motorcycle and caused the bike to lose control. My dad is very injured. He was flown by helicopter to a hospital in San Angelo Texas. 

San Angelo is a long ways from home. So mom is having to stay in San Angelo with dad.  Living expenses are adding up fast.  Dad's injuries are so bad he is going to be in the hospital a long time. 

His right foot is so damaged that they might have to amputate.  We don't have the final decision on that yet. His neck is broken, he has some cracks in his spine, broken shoulder, broken collarbone, 10 broken ribs, broken sternum, his thumb was so injured that they had to put a pin in it, lots of bruising and road rash, both lungs were punctured. He is in ICU.  He is on a ventilator. There are so many other things going on as well.  The doctors think he will be in the hospital here for a long time.  The doctors are fantastic and they are doing everything in their power to help my dad. 

I am trying to get some help for my mom to help with the expenses of having to stay in San Angelo.
