SEND MSU ELITE TO COLLEGE NATIONALS!
MSU Elite Dance Team is a student run dance team at Michigan State University. Established in May of 2011, our team gives students the opportunity to dance competitively at the collegiate level in such styles as jazz, lyrical, pom, and hip-hop. We pride ourselves on instilling confidence, encouraging team unity, and representing our school. This year MSU Elite Dance Team is traveling to Daytona Beach Florida to compete at the National Dance Alliance Collegiate Championship.
YOUR SUPPORT CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
· We are 100% self funded; meaning anything we don’t raise comes out of each dancer’s pocket.
· The money donated will go directly towards the Nationals fees listed below.
· The total amount raised by this GoFundMe will be divided evenly amongst the 23 dancers traveling to Nationals to help offset their expenses.
BUDGET:
· 23 dancers are traveling to nationals in April. The cost to send just one dancer is:
· Choreography: $250
· Costumes: $250
· Travel/Airfare: $400
· Entry Fee/Hotel: $400

Past Events:
· MSU Greek Week
· MSU Homecoming Parade
· Dancing at Football Tailgates
· Philanthropy Performances (i.e. Toys for Tots)
· Charity Events (i.e. Fleece and Thank You)
· Lansing’s Silver Bells in the City
· On Campus Fundraisers
· Motor City Choreography Collective, Detroit MI
· Local Competitions and Conventions (i.e. NUVO)
· Annual Showcase in East Lansing
The Next Level:
· In addition to the above events, we will be going to NATIONALS!
· Top university dance teams from around the country travel to the NDA Collegiate Championship to compete.
