Help us build a dorm!

Nestled in the beautiful Judean Hills just twenty minutes south of Jerusalem, the village of Bat Ayin in Gush Etzion is home to Midreshet B’erot Bat Ayin: Holistic Torah for Women on the Land.

Founded 19 years ago by Director Rebbetzin Chana Bracha Siegelbaum, the Midrasha offers women of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to receive a well-rounded Torah education while deepening their connection to the land of Israel.

B'erot provides one of the only full-time live-in learning programs for women of any age in the world.  We have no age limit, and no minimum background to attend.  Students can come learn with us for any amount of time, and our conversion program has provided dozens of new Jewish women the foundation they need to live a meaningful Torah observant life.  Many go on to make aliyah and start families here in Israel.

Midreshet B'erot Bat Ayin fills a void and provides an environment for women who may have no other appropriate options for gaining a Torah education.

Our supportive community is conducive to developing a warm, caring community of women with a strong sense of camaraderie throughout their shared journey towards Torah observance. Hundreds of women have been inspired to strengthen their Torah observance through their studies at Midreshet B’erot Bat Ayin. The unique learning methods and diverse range of instructors inspire and encourage our students to work on perfecting their character while creating a solid foundation as women in the Jewish world.

As a non-profit organization, Midreshet B’erot Bat Ayin is supported solely by the student tuition and donations from our supporters. If you live in USA, Canada or South Africa we offer you tax-deductible receipts for your donations.

We need your help!

For the past 19 years our students have been residing in caravans (trailers) which we need to replace. Since many of our students are mature women, we want to offer adequate accommodations that will enhance rather than detract from their experience at B'erot.

To this end, a very generous donor has made a donation which will cover half the cost of replacing one of our double caravans into a real dorm building which will house 4-6 students comfortably. But we still need to raise the other half.

Please be a part of our vital work by donating towards this building project, and help us to provide not only for our students' spiritual needs, but their physical needs as well. You'll be giving a gift that will touch many lives and facilitate Torah learning for years to come.

We need to raise $15,000 before the rainy season begins in Israel, so please donate today!
