Military and Catholic Schools

For many decades, service men and women have turned to Catholic schools to provide a stable educational and social environment for their children as they were on deployment. They knew that, when they were far from home, their children were in a school that had the sort of values that they were protecting in their active duty assignments. They could rest a little easier knowing that they had done all that they could to provide for their children in their absence.

   As one of the closest Catholic grade school to Naval bases in San Diego, Our Lady’s School offers a 25% discount for military families whether the service member is on deployment or not. For many of them, that is not enough but we do not turn them away. But that means that we must raise not only the discounted tuition assistance but the extra assistance to assure that our school is affordable to the tight budgets that military families have.

   We are looking to raise $7,500, all of which will go to provide tuition assistance for military families to attend Our Lady’s School.
