CAN YOU IMAGINE A WORLD MAP OF EMOTIONS AT HAND?
EXPEEX is a mapping tool, a search engine and a navigator. The app is already available FREE on Google Play and iTunes (for Android and iOS devices). With your posts you can help us create a World Map of experiences and emotions!
Indeed EXPEEX is a crowdsourcing platform, that users can feed with their posts, to let everyone else know about beautiful places and experiences that are available!
Therefor every user can also use the search tool to find experiences available around a specific GPS position! be navigated to the place, and enjoy these experiences first hand!
Although the app is already usable, there are existing features that need to be optimezed, and new tools that would be great to be able to add to the software for a better user's experience!
But we need your help, the help of EXPEEX users, to be able to cover the costs for the programmers.
Every little help you will give to us it will return to you in form of better user's experience! More tools, improved software, a better platform for you to enjoy!

OUR STORY
At the beginning of this journey there was a dream: we have imagined a world map for everyone to find and enjoy experiences and emotions!
A map of emotions, experiences, opportunities; a search tool capable to scan the territory around us and find them; and a navigator to get there and enjoy these emotions and experiences!
We called the project "Experiences Explorers", and used the contraction of these two words to name it: EXPEEX, a community network, a search engine, and a navigator!
HOW DOES IT WORKS?
Every user can create a post and share an emotion. It can be a bench with a stunning view, a fount of fresh clear water, a reef from which you can dive, a great place to fly a kite, a farm where you can taste fresh milk, or pet animals, a great spot for Northern Lights watching, a beautiful library, a great site for surfing… anything that make you feel enthusiastic, excited, surprised, amused, thankful, or that moves you!
Your post (photo, video, description, category, status) is automatically geo-localized and pinned on the map.
One condition for an Experience to be posted on EXPEEX is to be "REPEATABLE": therefor either available always, or on particular days, on certain festivities, or Season (in which case it would be good to add a note in your post to let people know when that particular experience is available!)
Indeed if, other-ways, you are enjoying an experience that is likely "not to be repeated" (for example you are enjoying the beautiful performance of an itinerant street artist, or watching someone making a beautiful sand castle) someone coming to the same spot at a later time will likely not be able to enjoy your very same experience.
Therefor, the "repeatibility" factor of an experience is very important in EXPEEX. Keep this in mind when you share your experience.
Once the map gets populated with repeatable experiences, every user can find them by searching the area around a specific GPS location, be navigated to the spot, and enjoy those experiences first hand!

In a world in which technology confines people in a bubble (holding us away from the real world), EXPEEX uses technology to give users the opportunity to enjoy real life experiences. It offers the opportunity of living experiences first hand, and explore the world around us with our senses and emotions!
A tech tool that provides an tech-free experience!
It enhances our generosity (when we share) and curiosity and sense of adventure (when we search.)
We have already developed the basic version of EXPEEX, which you can find on the on-line stores for FREE download (on Google Play and iTunes) for two platforms: Android and iOS.
But we now need your help to improve it.
The next step is to create a new "post logic" that allow users to "Save a post as draft".
We have realized that it would make a tremendous difference from user experience point of view to have this option! First of all you won't need to interrupt your experience to create a full post, it will be enough to snap a photo (which will also capture GPS position), and save the post for later publishing! This will also solve the problem of high costs of roaming, when traveling, and the problem of publishing a post when in a place with weak network signal.
So far we have developed EXPEEX using our own financial resources, but now we need your help.

It will take about one month of work (20 business days) for the programmers to implement this logic. If you try EXPEEX you will realize how important is to have the "save as draft" option.
By donating to this project you will contribute to finance the development of a platform that is open for everyone to use for free. So, if you are a user of EXPEEX, you will get a direct benefit in return!
