Hi everyone! My name is Jose Avina and I am the founder of Sacramento Eco Fitness and I am asking for your help. For the past 10 months we have been working really hard to create what will be the first self-sustained fitness facility in the United States.
What makes our gym different from the hundreds of fitness facilities out there already is our specialized equipment from Sports Art. Sport Art created the Eco Power line, these machines can now harness the kinetic energy generated during each workout. With before everyone was producing kinetic energy each time they jump on a cardio machine, only difference now is that we can convert that energy into useable watts and is how we have become the first Eco Gym in North America.
So far we have purchased 15 Eco Cycles from Sports Art and we are able to produce enough energy to remain at a zero balance but our goal now is to purchase 10 more cycles and TESLA Power Wall to help store the energy and allow us to pull from the Power Wall during slower hours of operation. Although our main goal for purchasing more cycles and the TESLA battery is to be able to eventually power the ice shop next door to us and the restaurant as well. If this works out as planned, we would then look to purchasing more cycles to hopefully one day provided more energy to power more lights for the City of Sacramento. This equipment is not cheap and is a reason why most fitness facilities have opted out of purchasing them but we cannot put a price on our environment, it is up to us to take every step possible to ensure its longevity.
This equipment can take up to 2 months from ordering to delivery. We would like to be able to purchase the TESLA battery before October 20th to have it here before the new year in order to open our doors to our new facility before the New Year as well. Your donations will be needed immediately and will be put to use within moments of receiving it.
I have spent the last 10 months working to bring this concept to life, I have spoken to investors and lenders about the needed funds to complete this project but their focus is on capital gains. My focus is on educating the local community about how they can help to make a positive impact for the environment. Therefor by creating a facility that will help to create energy and power the City instead of wasting energy then everyone wins even the environment wins, the only ones that lose are those heavily invested in fossil fuels (capital investors) and my goal is to achieve that.
I took on this project to make a difference, to make a positive impact for our community and more importantly our environment. It is up to us to preserve the little that we have left. Therefor if you believe in what I am trying to accomplish and you see the full potential of what this can one day be please help us to achieve our goal and play a critical role in helping to fund the first Eco gym in North America.
