Mohanad's Tuition Fund

My name is Mohanad and I am a senior at Portland State Business School. I have moved to Portland two years ago from Benghazi, Libya due to the political unrest the country is currently going through. I started college in 2008 as a student in the Medical school, but unfortunately I couldn't continue my studies due to the revolution then a civil war. I spent 5 years trying to graduate but ended up dropping out.

After moving to Portland, I managed to get enrolled in Business school (Supply Chain Management) and with the help of the school, my job, and some scholarships, I managed to fund my studies. This year is my last year of college, and I was informed that one of the scholarships I was supposed to receive is not going to be given to me this year. I am not eligible to receive any student loans or financial aid and I don't have family here in the U.S to borrow money from.  I can’t receive money from my home country because transfer services have stopped a while ago and will continue to be closed as long as the war continues. 

Graduation means a lot to my family, and me I have been in school for 8 years now between Libya and Portland and I cannot give up after getting to the finish line. I will probably lose the rest of my scholarships for the year if I don't start school by next week and I would hate to see that happen.

I'm planning on perusing a career here in the U.S and graduating from college is the first step to do so. I don't like asking for money, but this is the only option I have.
