Oreo's Leg Amputation Surgery

Hi everyone.  Most you know Oreo's story but for those who don't....Erek found the little guy by our garage about 3 weeks ago.  Every time he took a step he fell over.  We took him in and found that his paw pads were all burned.  He thrived once his little feet started healing.

Last week his paw swelled up and when we took him to the vet he was running a fever of 106 and while the paw was not broken, it was infected.  They gave him a 2 week antibiotic shot and some pain meds and sent him home with us.

Once the swelling went down, the paw  started oozing and it just didn't look good.  I took him to the vet this afternoon and the paw is severely infected and they have to remove his leg.  They will be keeping him over night.  Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
