Help Mr. Bergh

Donation protected
Hello,

**Thank you so much everyone! The response has been amazing. I put 20K as the goal because I was trying to be realistic. The Berghs really could use 40K to pay of medical bills. So please keep sharing and hopefully we can surpass the 20K mark and continue to help this amazing man that we all love so much! SHARE WITH EVERYONE!! Please!

As many of you are aware Mr. Ed Bergh was diagnosed with brain cancer several years go.  After undergoing initial treament he returned to the classroom doing what he loves to do.

However, earlier this year (2016) the tumor began growing again and Mr. Bergh had to undergo another surgery.  Betweeen complications with the surgery and the nature of the cancer, Mr. Bergh has not been able to return to the classroom and is at a rehabilation facility.

Mr. Bergh and his family have a mountain of medical bills piling up along with him not working and therefore

not collecting his entire paycheck.

This is a man that we all know and love.  He has dedicated 40 years of his life to his students at Yelm High School and to the Yelm Community.  His biggest concern throughout this time has been his students and his desire to return to the classroom.  He has touched so many lives and been an inspiration to all of us that have had the immense pleasure of knowing him.

I met Mr. Bergh nine years when I joined the Social Studies Department at Yelm High School.  He has been a mentor and friend to me and I am honored to know him; as I know most people who walk through the door of his classroom, feel the same way.

The money we are raising will go directly to the Bergh family to help them pay their medical bills so they can use their salaries for their living expenses, such as being able to stay in their house.

However much you can donate will be greatly appreciated.  Please share this with everyone you can - former classmates, former teachers from Yelm, family, strangers...anyone.  If everyone even just gives up their morning mocha one day a week for a month...we could easily meet our goal and help a man who has helped so many of us.
