Save our downtown cafe !

www.angiesmainstcafe.com ‌Hi friends, today we are reaching out to our community in hopes that our friends,valued guests ,and political leaders will see that our small business is in need of some help! For those of you who don't know us,or our story I can give a brief overview! I'm a 32 year old mother of a 6 year old boy, I have one amazingly selfless employee who is also a mother of two small boys. Our cafe has been here for three years as of February 1 2018 ! This particular space has had six different owners in the seven years before we came in . I bought the cafe in 2014. I came in with no working capital like alot of new micro entrepreneurs, what I've had from the beginning and still posses is the fight inside me telling me Elmira is where I should be and that this cafe can make it. We are one of the only businesses in Elmira's downtown that are open on Sundays,offer gluten free or vegetarian, and have many other dietary specialty foods. We connect to our community, and help so many people . Its now time that we've asked for help, our cafe like many other restaurants in this area had a tough summer,unfortunately we may be at a point in this venture that it's time to cut our losses . Before we do we thought this might give the city and the community that scream for more downtown businesses to help keep one here! Finally ,we aren't looking to become a financial burden on our community, Main street cafe will trade 50% in gift certificates for every donation made. For example if you donate 20$ we will give a 10$ gift certificate in return! When donating on here, please use the “Other” button to change the tip to $0, as the tip section is not for the cafe’.
