Let's help my Sister Pia and beat Cancer together!
Pia Fetizanan is a Medical Laboratory Scientist by Profession. She spent her career being part of helping patients get better.
On July 28, She was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer called invasive ductal carcinoma (Stage III-C) at a young age of 30. She had undergone a Modified Radical Mastectomy (MRM) operation, a procedure in which they removed her left breast and the pectoralis minor and lymph nodes in the adjacent armpit. She’s currently undergoing series of treatments and it is ironic that She cares for sick people herself, yet cannot access this treatment without significant funds to do so.
Dear friends, I am appealing to your generous hearts to help support and share a piece of your blessing. Any amount you can give will be a huge help to the cost of Pia's Chemotherapy and other succeeding treatment and medication. Pia has health insurance which would somehow help her ongoing recovery but as we all know, insurance rarely covers everything. We already covered her surgery and some of her initial treatments and medication, but if we can just get her some more help it would be wonderful. This is not an easy time for her. Pia just wants an opportunity to live for, her family and all her friends.
On a positive note, even though Pia has been going through a very difficult time, She has a good prognosis and a positive outlook that She will get back stronger than ever before. She has a courageous heart, her strength is exceptional, and her spirit remains strong. Her doctors are confident that She will successfully finish her treatment plan, and She looks forward to the day when this is all behind her.
So much life and opportunity ahead of my Sister so let’s help her to make it all possible.
