Help Erect a Memorial to Vets

As a prelude to the building of a memorial, we have erected the flag poles, flying "Old Glory," the Utah State Flag and the "Never Forget" POW/MIA flag.  We now wish to raise funds to build a wall and a memorial behind, dedicated to and commemorating all veterans who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States. 



Additionally,  the memorial would have a plaque, listing the names of veterans and other members of the Dixie Desperados who have passed on.  Many of our members are combat veterans as well. Several have been awarded Silver Stars, many with Bronze Stars, numerous Purple Heart Awards and other commendations. 






Several have already passed on. We would add all their names immediately and then additional names as the years go by.  This would be our way of leaving a tribute for their families to visit when in the area. The goal amount is minimal to give us a start, eventually needing about $5,000.00 for the total buildout.  We would love to have this memorial funded by 30 September 2018, as we would like to have it completed in time for a dedication, Veteran's day, 11 November 2018.
