HELP Lisa Reid-Laird fight Cancer

In early August, Lisa Reid was diagnosed with stage III colorectal cancer. At just 41 years of age, she continues to maintain a positive attitude, but her road to recovery is long. She has recently begun the necessary six weeks of chemotherapy while simultaneously receiving radiation treatments. She will then have surgery to remove the remainder of the tumor, which will be followed up with four months of IV chemotherapy. Lisa will need additional surgeries once she completes the chemotherapy.
Due to her diagnosis, Lisa has had to move her residence so she can have assistance and a more appropriate environment for a healthy recovery.
Lisa’s expenses far exceed her financial resources, and are daunting. She is unable to work during this time and is already incurring significant debt. She has been told that her cancer is very aggressive, and as such, her treatment is aggressive as well. This translates to countless doctor visits and appointments with specialists that add to her accumulating expenses.
Lisa has always had a special compassion for taking care of others. Over the last 10 years, she has focused on caring for the needs of senior citizens and veterans. She has stood by their bedsides, when sick, and provided the warmth and comfort of friendship and a helping hand. She has helped those in need find housing, medical care, medical equipment, and financial resources. As a care coordinator for Amada Senior Care, in the South Bay, Lisa serves her clients with a sunny smile, a warm heart, a love for humanity and empathy for those less fortunate. Everyone knows that Lisa’s service is just beginning when business hours end.
