Alexander Wayne

On September 18, 2016, my 2 year old son Alexander Wayne Darbonne was apart of a tragic event that left him with severe injuries and hospitlized. He was flown, by helicopter, to the Baton Rouge hospital, Our Lady of the Lake, where teams of doctors are taking the very best care of him that they can possibly do.
He is doing by far better then I could hope for but still has a lot of healing ahead of him. He is fighting several skull/facial fractures, and a laceration across the entirety of his forehead. When he first arrived he had to be placed on a breathing machine to help him breath more comfortably, but we have high hopes that he will soon come off of it. Anyone who can support my little boy will be greatly appreciated. We are praying for a speedy recovery and hope he will be back to him rough and tumbly self just as he always was. Thank you everyone who has been supportive thus far and I will keep everyone updated as he progresses further in this difficult time.
