We are two Uruguayan vegan brothers attempting to reunite our family (who are all vegetarians since more than two decades ago) from South America to Europe, so we could be the united family that we used to be before the economic crisis sent us looking for a job far away from home.
Since then, we have been separated for twelve years, working hard to help our people, sending money in order to cover basic expenses that are huge there for two retired elders an an unemployed sister.
Since more than a year ago, we started a campaign with help of friends of ours, tattoo artists, to sell prints in order to cover the expenses, but this has been really slow, and it is necessary to sell a lot of them to cover the expenses, so we have decided to start a crowdfunding to speed the process.

We need to gather 5000 euros to cover the travel tickets and then pay bureaucracy expenses and a lawyer to keep our family legally in Europe.
As soon as we get the money, we can start making the necessary procedures to have them closer to us.
Our family gave us everything they could so we always had food and shelter, we have done the best given our possibilities to prevent them from scarcities, but there is something missing, and it is to talk with them and hug them whenever we want to, and when the time comes for them to leave this material world, to be able to farewell them without the pain generated by the distances that now separate us.
This photograph is from three years ago. It was the last time that we were lucky enough to visit them. Before that, it were almost five years without seeing them. It is not easy to travel when we would like to and we want to change that.
From the bottom of our hearts we appreciate and thank any help that you may give us.

Somos dos hermanos veganos uruguayos intentando poder traer a nuestra familia (todos vegetarianos, hace mas de dos décadas) desde Sudamérica a Europa para así poder ser la familia unida que éramos antes que la crisis económica nos enviara a buscar trabajo lejos de casa. Hemos estado separados por 12 años,trabajando duro para ayudar a los nuestros enviando dinero para poder cubrir gastos básicos que allí son muy elevados para dos personas jubiladas y una hermana desempleada.
Hace mas de un año empezamos una campaña con la ayuda de amigos nuestros artistas del tatuaje, a vender láminas para poder cubrir los gastos, pero se ha tornado muy lento y se necesitan vender muchísimas para llegar a la meta, por eso mismo nos hemos decidido a hacer un crofunding, para intentar acelerar el proceso.

Necesitamos reunir 5000 euros para poder así costear los gastos de los tickets de viaje, luego un abogado y la posterior burocracia para poder tener a nuestra familia legal en Europa.
Tan pronto recaudemos el dinero que nos hace falta, podemos comenzar a hacer los tramites necesarios para traerlos mas cerca nuestro.
Nuestra familia nos dio siempre todo lo que tenían a su alcance para que no nos faltara el techo, la comida y el abrigo, nosotros hemos hecho lo mejor posible para que nos les faltara nada a pesar de las distancias, pero hay algo que nos falta y es poder hablar con ellos y abrazarlos cuando tenemos ganas y en el momento de tener que despedirlos del mundo material, poder hacerlo sin el dolor que generan las distancias que ahora nos separan.
La foto que aquí ponemos tiene 3 años, esa fue la ultima vez que tuvimos la suerte de poder visitarlos, la vez anterior a este viaje, fueron casi 5 años sin contacto, no es fácil poder viajar cuando queremos y queremos cambiar eso.
