Wheelchair van for Julian

Our funny, cheerful, curious son Julian just started kindergarten. He has Pompe disease , a very rare genetic muscle disease which means he's unable to stand or walk and requires a wide range of therapies and supports in addition to enzyme replacement therapy every two weeks. We have been working since January to get him a permanent power wheelchair to allow him to keep up with the kids at school and develop a healthy five-year-old's independence - we hope insurance will come through soon! But insurance won't pay for a wheelchair van, which we need to get Julian and his power wheelchair to the hospital or clinic, the library, the museum, or anywhere else the school bus doesn't go.  

The good news is, we've found a lightly used Honda Odyssey van adapted for wheelchair use on sale! We're hoping to be able to buy it in the next couple of weeks, before someone else does. But we're stretched so thin right now, we just can't manage the cost. If you can help, we know it will mean a world of freedom to Julian. Thanks for considering a donation or sharing with others.
