Brian & Sherri Dorais Fire Fund
I live near Brian Dorais and I have volunteered to assist him and his family with this fundraising campaign during their time of mourning of Sherri's death and Brian's recovery from the fire.
Tragedy has hit our community here in Madrid, NM. On the night of September 10, 2016, a fire broke out at the home of Brian Dorais and Sherri Ballou-Watts. Within minutes, flames engulfed the entire house. Sherri, Brian’s wife, did not make it out. Brian survived. The home destroyed.
The fund will be administered by his father, Don Dorais on Brian's behalf. The donations will be used as follows: Brian needs your donation for Sherri’s burial. There was no fire insurance on the house so the burned area on his land will need to be cleared and a small dwelling built to replace the house. He also has medical bills mounting. Everything was lost.
As a community, no matter where you are, Brian needs your help. Please come together and help get Brian back on his feet and donate to this fund as soon as you can. Every donation will be greatly appreciated no matter how big or how small. Please donate whatever you can as there are things that need to be done as soon as possible.
