Barbara Albano Medical Fund

My name is Joe and I am setting up this fund for my dearest friend, coworker and neighbor Barbara Albano. Two and half weeks ago without any warning Barbara became ill. She has since been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Two an half weeks ago her life was just like yours or mine, full of the craziness that absorbs us all.  Now in an instant she is fighting for her life. We tried Sloan but unfortunately the cancer has already reached her liver and she was only able to tolerate one chemo treatment. Her, her husband Anthony and sons Michael and Vincent have decided to seek stem cell treatment outside the United States. The purpose of this fund is to help facilitate the expenses of this treatment along with managing her care and their normal expenses. We are currently waiting for a spot to open at the Hino Medical Center in Encinada Mexico.     I want everyone to know that Barbara has been my right arm, confidant and go to person for nearly twenty years. Her husband has been there for me through every up and down  in my life since the day we met. I consider her sons as my own.  This entire family means more to me than anything I can think of as I sit here writing this with tears streaming down my face.
