PPHS Robotics Team 5462

Paw Paw High School's FRC Team #5462, 2pawR (Two Paw Robotics) is located in South West Michigan in the rural village of Paw Paw. It is our goal to inspire our members to be leaders in science, technology, engineering, and math by offering them the opportunity to gain a foundation of knowledge and vocational skills that inspire innovation and foster confidence, communication, and leadership. Last season was huge for us. We upgraded our facility, added a few metal working machines, and learned a lot in the process. Our biggest accomplishment was winning FIRST PLACE at the Lakeview District qualifying event. We also won the Quality Award which celebrates machine robustness in concept and fabrication.This season (2016/2017) will be our third year competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition. We are currently seeking funding / sponsorship for our team to assist with registration fees, materials and specialty tools to build the robot with, and assist with travel costs to our competitions. We also hope to raise enough to purchase an enclosed trailer for the team. This year, with your help, our team will continue to make an impact on students and allow members to have an opportunity to learn about and pursue careers in STEM fields. One one of our two graduates from last year's team was hired over the summer at PRAB. He continues to use the skills and knowledge made possible from his time on our team. Our current students are reaching out to our middle school students and mentoring the newly formed PPMS FIRST Tech Challenge team.
