Mike Henry: Road to recovery

Michael Henry was in a motorcycle accident on the 4th of July weekend. He and his fiancé Evelyn were riding together in Vermont. A friend who was on the scene stated that they were not going at a fast rate of Speed and could not have predicted the event. It was a completely random accident. Evelyn sustained minor injuries. Mike broke his neck resulting in paralysis from the neck down. He had surgery to stabilize him, and was able to breathe on his own after several days. Mike is working towards rehabilitation and he had already made progress in being able to move his shoulders. He has recently been relocated to a facility in New York closer to home.
Mike and Evelyn are beginning the arduous journey to recovery with high hopes and determination.
This is a devastating event in the lives of these very active and vibrant people.
Mike has a thriving career as a New York State licensed optician and is always willing to give his best to his customers and coworkers. He always has a good word and humorous perspective to share.
