Hey there my name is James Raven and I am the author and artist for my Vamp The Lost Soul Manga series. I have been working on this since I was 13 and now I am 28 and last year I have slef published the first volume of Vamp The Lost Soul. This year and going to get volume 2 self published and then spend next year touring comic cons to get myself out there.
My dream is to get my manga among the greats like bleach, One Piece, Hellsing etc etc.
Since last year I sold 100 copies of the first volume but made a loss since i sold it at a low price to get myself out there and gave some away for promoting my manga series. As they say lose before you gain also I managed to get my manga in two local comic book shops.
But sadly it cost me alot more to get out there than I originally thought due to the planing for 2nd volume to come out this year and the tour for next year all together, so this why I asking for your help the money wise it will go towards the publishing, the 2017 comic con UK tour and new better art equipment to make my work batter.
( This was me at my first Comic con as a seller last year in oct with also the lunch of Vol 1)
This the list of costs:
-Publishing of volume 2 = between £900-£1000
-Comic Con tables for the tour = Between £50 - £200
-A place to stay at some Comic Cons = Between £100- £200 ( I try to do this as cost effective and without a place to stay as much as possible)
- Wacom Cintiq 13hd touch drawing pad = Between £700 - £800
-Towards some better VTLS merc = I normally keep it between £50 - £70 per lot (I try to keep there if got any ideas for cool merc let me know or any good sites for it let me know ;) )

I planing on doing 30 volumes for the first series alone each containing at least 180 pages. I am also going to do a feather two series after this because I want this to be long running Manga series.

As you know I came a very long way with some help form friends and family but all I need is push on the cash side of it all just for that little boost to fund this.
I will need the funding asap I know it alot to ask to believe in a small time manga artist like myself but I really want to be out there with the best.

- £10 to £19 I will send to you a copy of volume 1 signed to you or a signed volume 2 when it comes out. Also get a PDF file to have a sneak peek the first 2 chapters of volume 3 before anyone else via email and you get to give feedback
- £20 to £29 I will send to you volume 1 and 2 both signed when volume 2 comes out. Also get a PDF file to sneak peek of the first 4 chapters of volume 3 before anyone else via email and you get to give feedback
- £30 or more I send volume 1 and 2 ( when 2 comes out which which by October this year hopefully) with a few VTLS goodies (Badges, Postcards and etc.) Also get a PDF file to sneak peek the full book of volume 3 before anyone else via email and you get to give feedback
I be really grateful if you all can help me with this, I been at this for a very long time and it is hard getting out there due to money wise. Also makes it harder when doing all the art and story with no team to back you up and to promote yourself at the same time with some help form friends and family.
If I get to my goal by the end of December 2016 I will make a special t shirt to go on sale on the Street Shirts website and put all your names to the ones that donated towards as a special thank you. But if this get at it goal before the end of Oct I will do a two parter T-shirt design again placing all of your names on it again to say a huge thank you.
I know it not much but if help an artist lime myself reach a long life dream I always remember this. I might done well on my own so far, but now this where I really need your help and keep pushing me to bring out the best work I can for all of you.
