Rough Cut @ AT&T Film Invitational

With over 20 award-winning original films under our belts and our own city-wide annual festival, the industry is taking notice of Rough Cut!

As a result, 20 of our filmmakers have been selected to compete for over $50,000 in cash prizes at the AT&T Film Invitational in NYC (Oct 4-9th).

AND  four of our original films- "Point of No Return", "Sand Boy", "Reverb" and "Joining the Session" are also Official Selections this year out of thousands produced by young filmmakers from around the world. 

We've set up this GoFundMe to help subsidize the unbelievably high costs associated with our talented young filmmakers competing for prestige.

Our filmmakers are tasked with creating two separate 10 min films within 3 calendar days. Everyone who succeeds will have their film screen during the All-American HS Film Festival and be eligible to win part of $50,000 in cash and awards from AT&T.  

We've secured scholarships and all sorts of grants to ensure our crew can compete, but now we're faced with financing 20 students being in NYC for a whole week.!!!

YOUR SUPPORT WILL HELP FINANCE:

-All-Access Passes for our film team ($40 per filmmaker)

-5 Nights in a Hotel ($250 per room, 6 rooms per night)

-Train to/from NY ($100 pp)

-Food ($200 pp)

Last year you helped 4 of our filmmakers- Jenny, Sieanna, Brian and Marshall- celebrate their award-winning film "Evan".  All are currently making moves within major film programs like Pratt, Temple & Drexel. 

This year you can help 20 of our current stars show the industry what Rough Cut is made of and help them take this stage as champions!!!
