My name is Terry James and I am the author of the self published book series "Tales from Eerie County". I am a proud life time resident of Northwest Ohio for nearly 44 years. I have been writing for about three years now and am ready to take my books to the next level!
My first book in the series, "Tabby and The Hunchback of Eerie County High", was released back in 2013, then re-released with an expanded edition in 2015 along with the follow up "Tabby and The Dissolution of April". Then later that year, a prequel to the series was released entitled "Deceased Denise". All three books are young adult (YA) novels that fall into the category of fantasy/fiction, adventure, comedies with a hint of romance. They can be found on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle editions.
the reason for the fund raising you ask? though I have campaigned to help bring attention to my books with readers, sales have been very slow. So I have scheduled for this fall to appear in numerous shows and signings to help get out there and mingle with my potential readers. But advertising and book inventory takes a lot of time and money. I am married and have five beautiful children that I also must look after. After the clothing, food, medical bills, rent, utilities and unexpected expenses are paid, there really isn't much left to work with, that's where you come in.
The funds raised here will go to help pay for the nesessary inventory of books I will be selling to readers throughout the fall and holiday season and to pay for advertising for the events, not to mention to purchase t-shirts with the "Tales from Eerie County" logo which will turn the wearers into walking billboards to help further help advertise the books. How exciting is that?
I am aiming to raise the funds by no later than September 25, 2016 so that inventory can be ordered in time for my first show scheduled for early October. Your contribution will help me get my books in the hands of young adults and help spark their interest in reading, goal I have always strived for.
