Brittany Andersen was my 20 year old daughter who passed away from Influenza A on March 26, 2016 in Sioux Falls, SD at Avera-McKennan Hospital.
I am Franki Andersen, her mother. I not only lost a daughter but also my Best friend and business partner! We spent everyday together working and enjoying each others' company. So many laughs were had and a few tears flowed together.
Brittany was the perfect picture of a Saint! She never had ill-will toward anyone but she would speak her mind if needed.
She loved to draw, write, and sing! She had a Beautiful creative side to her and I am lucky to have her drawings and writings I can sit and look at anytime I want.

OPENING ANNOUNCEMENT BY LYNANN BURNS:
Introduction of Flu Moms at 9:30am followed by
Dickinson County Public Health Nurse speech.
Flu Moms & Billy Andersen will release 20 balloons-her age at the time of her death.
Then the walk will begin!
Magician Brandon Aronson on site during the whole event!
WALK TIME: 10:00am
LOCATION: Arnolds Park Amusement Park by the Pier and it is 1.11 miles
(Maps will be available)
Start and Finish:
Walkers will start at the Pier in Arnolds Park Amusement Park and will finish at the Pier in Arnolds Park Amusement Park.
The funds are going to go to Lakes Regional Healthcare Foundation which will help those get the flu shot that cannot afford it. She would love this to continue on for years and it shall every year the 3rd Saturday in September!
This community has come together for our loss and I want to inform the public how Special Brittany was in life.
Please donate in Brittany's name to show how much flu awareness means to many of those people that are in need of assistance.
