Jordan's fight against cancer
It all started back in May, Jordan started getting sick over the course of a few months, his symptoms started progressively getting worse. My sister was in and out of doctors appointments, emergency room visits, and test after test came back clear and normal. It wasn't until, she took him to eye specialist (Dr. Marascalco) during what was suppose to be a normal follow up eye exam that finally gave her the answers that she had been looking for. During the exam, Dr, Marascalco saw Jordan had an alarming amount of pressure on his optic nerves, he knew something was wrong, and put in a urgent order for Jordan to have a MRI, a few hours later Tonya was back in his office with the results.
As most of you know my sister is a single parent raising two children, and with this life altering diagnoses, it will require constant around the clock care while he undergoes upcoming expensive chemo / radiation therapy. With all the unforeseen expenses and out of pocket healthcare cost. We are asking for your generosity through donations to help with Jordan's fight against childhood cancer.
Jen (Jordan's Aunt)
Just a quick update jordans sense then underwent radiation , port line placed , finished 3 cycles of chemo that's taking a toll on him and caused him to have leg problems and foot drop , surgery for feeding tube , countless needle sticks, countless lab checks, platelets and blood transfusions, major weight loss, chest pains and hard to breath at times . I could go on and on , we have one cycle left of chemo to go and hopefully head home for a change before having big scans again .
We wish we can say after that jordans cancer free but it doesn't work that way . If we can make it to 5 years or over with it not coming back then we can say cancer free and cured .
Thank you everyone who has helped in any kind of way no matter how it means the world to us and thank you for all the prayers and and sticking with us through this journey! #TEAMJORDAN
Get better soon Jordan. Love you.
