2nd major battle with cancer

Donation protected
Jodi Davenport 44 of Burton, MI. is beginning another battle with cancer. Her battle with cancer started in 2009 when she had severe internal bleeding and went to the E.R. where they found a 22lb tumor and was diagnosed with ovarian and uterine cancer. After a major surgery to remove the cancer affected organs and lymph nodes she went thru 6 months of chemotherapy and in March 2010 the cancer went into remission.

Since that time Jodi has been the survivor chairman for Relay for Life thru the American Cancer Society trying to put an end to cancer.

On October 26th 2018 after 5 weeks of very strong hip pain and painful constipation we went to the E.R. to see if there was a blockage. After a couple hours and a CT scan we were told the words no cancer survivor wants to hear. THE CANCER HAS RETURNED.

This time the fight is different. There is a mass on the aorta artery, innumerable nodules throughout the lungs, lymph nodes are enlarged and clumped together, it has spread to retroperitoneal area. Tests are being done to determine if she has gastrointestinal cancer also.

Right now we are focusing on keeping Jodi pain free and allowing her to focus on the family and her amazing grandchildren age 2 and 7.(pictured is daughter and granddaughter)

We are asking for donations to help cover medical bills, copayments, and living expenses for her and her husband so we can concentrate on the quality of life during this battle.

If you are unable to donate can you please share this with everyone you can. You never know that one stranger that might need to see this story.
