Join Lisa's 2nd Battle with Cancer

I am a breast cancer survivor now fighting stage IIIC ovarian cancer.  In 2008 I was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer.  I had a double mastectomy, followed by chemotherapy.  During this time it was difficult to meet my medical bills along with my monthly obligations (mortgage, utilities, medical copays).  I managed and was able to work part time during chemotherapy (although as you can imagine, this was extremely difficult due to nausea and fatigue).   On March 6, 2017 I went to the hospital with a distended abdomen and severe back pain.   The doctors ran some tests and CAT scans.  At 12 am, March 7th the doctors found a large malignant tumor on my left ovary, with  right ovary involvement.  Doctors were sure it was ovarian cancer.    The doctors then performed an emergency debulking surgery on March 9, 2017.  The result was a sub-optimized debulking.  The doctors found the cancer had metatsized throughout my pelvic area and abdomen.  In early April, I am scheduled to start 8 rounds of chemotherapy 21 days apart with interminttent "shots" of chemo to try to destroy the tumors left on my stomach, spleen, and liver, the debulking did not remove.  

I simply want to pay my insurance copayments and be able to maintain my home, so that I can possibly live through this ordeal in order to help others with their battle agaisnt this insidious disease.
