Hispanic/Latino College Scholarship

Tax deductible
We believe that education is the key for a better place.

We are supporting college's Latino/Hispanic students who wish to finish college in Oregon. We are a group of volunteers that gathers with the only purpose to give back to our community and to support the community here in Oregon and Beyond.

Now we are fundraising for 2019-20.
We met our goal for 2016-17. We gave a $2,500 scholarship to Jocksana Corona. Jocksana is a mother of two, hard worker and college student. She is enroll in Rogue Community College to study Counseling. Students like her need support.
We fundraised for our 2018 and we met our goal of $1,500 to Sley Vega at University of Oregon. A young Venezuelan student first generation going to college. A driven and committed student.

It is important to know that this scholarship will be matched in an Oregon University. When we give $1,500 the university will match by giving other $1,500. The student will have a total of $3,000. This is possible by giving this scholarship through Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber.

Our goal for 2016-17 was $2,500 for a student that attends an Oregon university, and who is of Hispanic/Latino descendence, preferrably of Venezuelan origin but not mandatory.  Last year the college' student got with matching funds a total of $5,000.
Our goal for 20118 was a scholarship of $1,500.

We only count with the generosity of people that surrounds us and in people like you that will like to help and support a student to acomplish her/her dream of finishing college and be a productive professional.
Your support will make a big difference in someone's life.
Please  consider donating to our cause of goodness toward a financial struggling college student.
