Dienamarie's Breast Cancer Fund

Hi My name is Leanna, and I created this page for my daughter Dienamarie. Please join us in supporting Dienamarie in our efforts to raise $100,000 to alleviate medical bills and loan debt, incurred during her journey fighting against stage 4 breast cancer. Dienamarie worked through her treatments and surgery, as an art teacher, teaching grades 1-5. She has since been alleviated of that position, Dienamarie is currently extending her medical treatments via COBRA, which leaves a heavy burden financially, as she no longer is employed. In 2015, Diena was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Currently, she has had a successful double mastectomy, as well as numerous successful chemotherapy treatments. Diena has undergone her second brain surgery, and with the support of family and friends, we will continue to assist her in her journey. For those of you who may not know her so well, here is a little background. Diena has always been proactive and at the front of the line when it comes to opportunities to help others. Many of you may know her from Girl Scouts of Nassau County, as she has been a lifelong girl scout, recipient of the highest honor of the Girl Scout Gold Award, and she has been a mentor to so many girls.Not only has she had a fulfilling voluntary career in the world of girl scouts, she has also been a wonderful advisor to fellow sorority sisters, as an awesome alumnae of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. Dienamarie has always helped everyone she knows, as well as those she may not know. She is kind and always puts others first. She is talented beyond words, and most of all, she is a fighter. With your support, she can come full circle and continue to impact the world around her with positivity, perseverance, and courage. We thank you in advance for your support and love!
