My name is Adam Weber. I am a twenty-one year veteran of the retail industry and a lifelong games fanatic.
I am raising money to launch a friendly local game store (FLGS) in Geneva, Ohio. A physical location to buy, learn about, talk about, and play games. A place to meet other fans of games.
What kind of games? Card games, board games, role-playing games, and wargames. The kind of games seen on Tabletop and much, much, more.
The money donated will be used for start-up costs such as; utility hookups, licenses, inventory, and rent.
I KNOW there are a bunch of tabletop gamers around here. I know there are tons of people who would love to play new games. We all have very few options to buy games and even fewer places to meet people to play. It has been my dream to bring this to all the local gamers.
If you help fund this you will:
1) be helping to provide a fun, friendly place to explore new games.
2) create a place to meet new friends with similar interests.
3) provide the community with a unique business to attract new visitors.
This store will provide events such as; open gaming, workshops, tournaments, and demos of games.
They say you should make your passion your job to be happy, and this is what I am most passionate about. I would be so thrilled if I can make this a reality.
