Retired K9 Ethel's Cancer Treatment

I'm Deputy Michael Romans with the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office. I have been a K9 handler for approximately 5 1/2 years and have been handling my K9 partner Ethel. Ethel is somewhere around 8 or 9 years old and she is trained to do Search and Rescue. Ethel looks for missing people and subjects by scent discrimination. Which means what ever a person touches there scent is left behind and that scent article is placed in front of the K9's nose and they search for that particular scent until they find the person. Ethel has found several people over the past 5 12 years that I have had her. 
    Recently we found out that a knot on Ethel's nose is Stage 1 Cancer. As a handler and dog lover, this has become a devastating blow to me. Due to Ethels medical condition, the county retiered her, and she is now in my care. Ethel is in need of radiation treatment and the place we plan on taking her for treatment is Blue Pearl in Georgia. The treatment Ethel needs cost approximately $5,200 and that is money I don't have. Ethel has helped locating and saving alot of people and now I'm asking for help to save hers. I have put this in Gods hands and it would be greatly appreciated for me and my family for your help and support.
