Amy's Journey

Amy Ledford-Austin is 44 year old mom of 2 boys who has been battling breast cancer for almost 4 years. She has endured a double mastectomy, implant reconstruction and then removal. She completed 1st round of chemo in 2013 only to find out the cancer had returned and was hiding behind implants. So like the warrior she is, she endured 8 more months of chemo. Upon completion she resumed her life without skipping a beat only to be brought another occurrence of breast cancer 2 months later. She continued to fight on. Even with higher doses of chemotherapy. Last July she was told the cancer was gone for good. Unfortunately in August the doctors determined her cancer was growing again. This time with a vengeance. Oh and did I mention she worked full time to support herself and her two boys? So here we are almost 4 years later and she has to fight even harder. Her doctors have taken her out of work because she tried to keep business moving along and collapsed at work. Without employment she has had to give up her vehicle and try to keep her head above water with medical bills so she can keep having chemotherapy. Everyday living expenses like food, electric and phone have become a burden. Any donation made will make a difference. Even pocket change! God bless you all and keep her in prayers❤️
