Ecuador Earthquake Relief

As many of you know, Ecuador has been struck very hard recently by an earthquake registering 7.8.  The epicenter was on the coast, an impoverished region where resources are already scarce.  Over 500 people have been killed, and currently over 24,000 are living in shelters and temporary housing.  Families, people of all ages, are being affected by the lack of potable water and injuries from the disaster.  The hospital that I work for has agreed to match all donations made!  All funds raised will be contributed to Inova's campaign to then be doubled!  Below is a link for that donation site.  

Anyone close to me knows that although I was born in the US my roots are in Ecuador.  It has always been my second home, and I have been fortunate to travel there regularly throughout my life.  The vast majority of my family is still there, and although no one close to me has been directly affected, I still feel a strong desire to help as best as I can from afar.

EDIT:  So apparently gofundme needs me to further detail who I am in order to approve this effort that I have started.  My name is Carlos Acosta, born in Silver Spring MD.  My parents are from Ecuador, and almost all my extended family is still living there.  Since I was very young I have spent a significant amount of time in this country.  The funds that I raise will be used to directly contribute to the relief effort.  I am currently working on having Inova (my employer) help raise as much money as possible, they are in the works of matching any money that is raised.  The above links are being considered for distributing the money obtained.
