The Freeway Fund

Hey Everyone! I rescued this little guy on Interstate 71 North in Columbus, Ohio. He was in really bad shape and still isn't doing well. But with the help of the Ohio State University Veterinary Emergency Clinic and Franklin County Dog Shelter, I was able to hook up with petpromise.org and do an emergency direct adoption to prevent his being euthanized. Now, he is stabilized at Rascal's Animal Hospital. His vet bills are accumulating and I am in need of help to get Freeway back to being healthy and happy. He is suffering from hypothermia, hypovolemia, malnutrition, and a heart murmur. His right eye was torn from its socket and we believe he was severely abused, possibly a bait dog. Please give what you can and know that it will go to getting him the beautiful and loving life that he has always deserved. I have been very dedicated to Freeway since I pulled him off of the highway and have been fighting for him since the moment he let me in. This has been a challenging journey but also exciting as well. Freeway and I have met so many caring and beautiful people who have shown us nothing but undiluted love and constant support. Our story has been followed closely on social media and we have gained a lot of new friends and family! Thank you all so very much for all of the beautiful words and support. Love, Freeway and Darrell
