Good bye USA

Donation protected
For many of us stories like this one are just stories. I’m heart broken to have it happen to my aunt and uncle.  After 25years of living in the US and coming here legally, they are now being deported and having to leave their amazing son behind.

Against their will, they now have to start a brand new life, leave the country they have called home and start all over else where.

If if you can find it in your heart to donate a couple of bucks, weather large or small it would mean the world to me and to them.  If financially it’s not possible, help me share this and spread the word.

Thank you ahead of time.

Here is the post that my cousin put on Facebook yesterday:

@JuanMiguelTorres-Bruno

Hello family, friends, former and current colleagues. I don’t normally post a lot of things on facebook but I feel like I have to under the circumstances my parents and I are going through right now. I’m 26 years old and have lived in the United States since I was 9 months old. I have lived over 25 years with my parents in this awesome country. Unfortunately we have struggled with our immigration status that whole time. Almost two weeks ago, my parents were told at their appointment with ICE (Immigration, Customs, and Enforcement)/Homeland security that they have to leave the country in 60 days.
We are good people; we came here legally, pay taxes every year, and are good members to society and to our community. I am posting on Facebook because this can serve as a platform to get messages across to the people in your life. The more people know the better.

For anybody who doesn’t know my parents and me. We are not illegals who are criminals and abuse the system. We are the contrary, and we are not the only ones going through this right now. I know that whoever knows who my parents and I are they can vouch for us. Our immigration lawyer says he doesn’t want to take anymore of my parents’ money because the law that helped extend their case every year is no longer. There is now zero tolerance for any order of deportation and my parents fall under that. If anyone knows perhaps some way around this or a person in a high political position who can stop this from happening please help us. The game plan is to prepare my parents to leave the country but still fight for them to stay here. It shouldn’t be like this. My parents’ health is not good. This immigration situation has taken a tremendous toll on my parents’ health, relationship, and well being. I ask you to vote and use your voice because we cannot during these midterms, at least not in the voting booth. I haven’t kept up with the voting but if there is any way you can vote for a better immigration reform or immigration reform for legal, noncriminal immigrants like my parents, me, and thousands of other people, we would greatly appreciate it during this hard time. Thank you and all the best.

Sincerely,

Juan Miguel Torres-Bruno
