Hazel's Heroes
Big things often have small beginnings....
On April 5th, 2017, after not feeling well and a trip to the emergency room, we were told that we were going to have to have an emergency c-section. Within an hour of being in the ER, Hazel Leigh Lipper was born at 24 weeks gestation, 4 months early, weighing only 1 lb. 1 oz. We have a long road ahead of us in the NICU as the earliest she will be released will be her due date, July 24th. Her birth came to us way sooner than expected, and although we are extremely grateful to have this little princess in our life, we realize that we need a little bit of help. As of right now, I am still healing from my surgery and not able to go back to work, because of the way my work operates, I am not getting paid at this time. Hazel's daddy is working around the clock to help us through this tough time and splitting his time between work life, home life and hospital life. Between medical bills for my 6 day hospital stay, her 4 month NICU stay, parking costs, and gas to and from the hospital we are looking at alot of expenses, we were not fully prepared for. Every day will be challenging as many things can happen in the NICU, but we believe that this little warrior princess is meant for great things. She has already proven to be a fighter, but sometimes the strongest fighters need some help. If you can help us out, we deeply appreciate it, if you can't, we understand and still love you.
