new best friend for my father

my name is katrina and i am trying to raise enough money to get my  facther a puppy ....
we have had our family dog shelly since i can remember she was about 12 years old and she was my dads partner in crime he took such amazing care of her when we all moved out and started our lives unfortunatly we had to put her down recently due to old age and hip dysplasia and possibly a tumor we found out about in the prosses of saying goodbye he had such a bond with her that not even myself could ever understand and i know a new puppy will never take her place or fill the hole in his heart but it sure would make him very happy to know hes got another little fur baby at home waiting on him to show just as much love as our shelly belly got from him she was very well loved and taken care and she lived a long beautiful life thanks to my father he deserves the very best <3  i would love to suprise my father with a puppy for his birthday in september i know he would be so happy and thankful
 this would mean the world to our family to see his face light up once again
