James "The Lovable" Perry
If you live and thrive in the Austin community, chances are you've seen James around! Most of his time is spent teaching skateboard lessons at the park or lending a helping hand to whoever needs it. He always has a positive attitude and a smile on his face.
In the morning of August 20, 2016 our good friend was physically assaulted by another young man on a false misconception. Quickly realizing that serious damage was done, he was rushed to the emergency room and was notified that the assaulter had broken his jaw in two places. He was immediatley taken under for critical jaw surgery.
After 3 days of recovery in the hospital, he has made the transition back home. His jaw is wired shut for the next 6 weeks, which means a lot of soup and smoothies! On a far more serious note than the unfortunate meal plan, James is facing some challenging effects of the assault.
Along with severe pain and a required leave of work James and his family are looking at high medical bills. We are reaching out to our community for donations to help with the surgery and medical boarding costs.
Any donations or prayers are welcome.
Thank you for the support...
